Watch the trailer and meet the cast of the new MMA reality series: Miami Hustle

If you don’t know who Genghis Con is, you should go stick a wet finger in an electrical socket, immediately. Genghis Con aka Issac Kesington is an independent filmmaker who does absolutely mindblowing MMA work. I just watched the trailer for his newest project, an MMA reality series called Miami Hustle and had to message him to get more info. Here’s the ‘what’ and ‘why’ Genghis Con gave me about his new series starring fighters Jorge Masdival, Gesias Cavalcante, Jorge Santiago and Alexis Vila:

The What: The show is about the fighters, and what they go through on a day to day basis leading up to the fights: the weigh ins, the fight and after the fights. It’s not a typical reality show or just a sports show-it’s kind of a mix. There’s the training, the fights, the family life, the night life and everything else.

The first season is going to be 12 episodes. Right now we have the pilot episode complete and the second episode nearing completion. We are currently shooting the 3rd. Right now, it’s an independent production with me-Genghis Con Films and Juan Carlos Faraldo.

There are also a lot of athletes on the show besides the MMA fighters. A lot of the show is based around South Miami Sports Performance where all the guys train and do their strength and conditioning with their head coach Juan Carlos Faraldo. Who also trains a lot of pro baseball, tennis and football players who will also be involved in the show.

The WhyBecause the regular person doesn’t know what it’s like to be a professional athlete, especially a pro MMA fighter. How he lives, how he trains, sponsorship, contract negotiations, etc…The way we’re showing it will be a new format and style, we’re trying to present it in an artistic way.

Now, if that isn’t enough to ignite your interest, pour yourself a bowl of frosted cheerios and watch the trailer and ‘meet the cast’ promo videos for Miami Hustle.
