Is it possible to start a UFC career better than “Sugar” Sean O’Malley?
“Sugar” Sean O’Malley, a rising UFC bantamweight candidate, picked up a unanimous decision victory over Andre Soukhamthath in the main card of UFC 222 on March 3, 2018, in Las Vegas.
O’Malley entered UFC 222 with a perfect 9-0 record with six knockout and one submission victories.
Sean O’Malley overcame some serious adversity in the 3rd; he hurt his left leg pretty severely to the point where he couldn’t even stand. Despite the ugly leg injury, O’Malley maintained his perfect record, moving to 10-0 in his young career.
He was taken to the hospital afterward but still managed to party it up later with his team. Eventually, x-rays revealed no broken bone, cheers.
O’Malley teased his plans ahead of his UFC 222 fight, telling Ariel Helwani about releasing of his own personalized strain of weed at his after party at The Cosmopolitan with the help of his sponsor Atrium Cannabis.
