Since we’ve been in Manila, Philippines covering the festivities leading up to ONE FC: Pride of a Nation, I’ve spent 90% of my time sheltering myself indoors. I’m not that familiar with the outer surroundings of the Philippines, but I do know that they have some killer air conditioning units. Also, in Manila their cheese sticks are created from the same material as egg rolls. That’s more fascinating than you think it is. As far as being welcomed into the country — the people in the Philippines makes me feel like I can crash on anyone’s sofa and then raid their fridge with little to no resistance.
Yesterday the ONE FC: Pride of a Nation open workouts went down and we managed to get a pretty slick photo gallery along with a short video of some of the fighters just after their workout.
