This morning, I cooked my breakfast using only one hand to see what it would be like. After 40 minutes of trying to crack an egg open and picking the shell fragments out of the pan, my omelet looked like crap. It was so aesthetically disappointing that I put it directly into the trash and resumed using my other hand to cook a proper breakfast. It looked a lot better the second time around. The same philosophy could be said for MMA, but that doesn’t matter to Nick Newell. He can do more with one hand than most MMA fighters with two. Not only that, but he beat Eric Reynolds faster than Eddie Alvarez or Jorge Masvidal. Last night, he remained undefeated, became the XFC lightweight champion, and began his campaign for a spot on our Frate Trane list. Check out this video of his fight and let us know in the comments if his performance is worthy of bumping down Alexander Shlemenko or Mark Hunt.
