I hope we’re all under the consensus that Megumi Fujii is the greatest MMA fighter of all time. By now, that claim isn’t even a debatable entity. It’s agreed upon and accepted — like The Smurfs was just one elaborate allegory for a Marxist utopia. Bas Rutten finished his career with a twenty-two win streak (only slightly interrupted by a draw to Osami Shibuya in Pancrase). One could say that Bas Rutten has the exact winning streak as Megumi Fujii and thus, create the argument that Rutten is greatest fighter of all time. However, Mega Megu is undefeated and only three of her fights have gone to decision. The greatest of all time has ovaries, and that may be tough for some of you to accept. This Thursday, Megumi Fujii will fight Zoila Frausto for Bellator’s first 115-pound championship bout and before it all goes down, you should check out this interview from The Grappling Dummy of Mega Megu explaining how she became the greatest fighter of all time.
