Watch Kawajiri play wheelchair basketball after Aoki nearly destroyed his ankle

A couple days ago, I tweeted (twatted?) that Kawajiri, Kikuno and Omigawa signed clothing contracts with ‘Diffeducation’, a Japanese based basketball apparel company. Of course, all of this just further instills the belief that you really need to follow MiddleEasy on Twitter. I gave a full play-by-play of Israel FC today and noted how Frank Trigg announced to a crowd of Israelis that he’s ‘part Jewish’, which grabbed tons of cheers from the audience. I assume that everyone reading MiddleEasy also follows the site on Twitter, but it’s an ignorant assumption based on the fact that some of you don’t even know who or what Twitter is. My bad, I’m not in the assuming business. Not at all. However, I am in the business of bringing you videos of MMA fighters playing wheelchair basketball.

Check out this video of Tatsuya Kawajiri playing wheelchair basketball after his ankle was nearly shredded by Shinya Aoki at Dream 15. This clip is part of some cross-promotional marketing including Dream, Japanese wheelchair basketball, MMA apparel and regular basketball. Only in Japan. [Source]
