Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson 6’9″, 400-lb Icelandic strongman who played a role of Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in the fourth season of Game of Thrones.
Well if you saw the above sparring session video where strongman Björnsson decided to square off against 5’9″, 154lb UFC star Conor Mcgregor in Ireland before Mcgregor’s big bout against Jose Aldo.
According to his recent interview on RT Sport, Björnsson stated he held back majorly could have crushed Conor Mcgregor during sparring session back in 2015. He claimed had he wanted; he could’ve done some serious damage to his much smaller foe, but he went easy on him.
“If I would push all my power into him, I would crush him. Crush him,” said the World’s Strongest Man runner-up for the past two years. “I had to hold myself back because I have too much power for a man his size.”
He is right.
