The Rizin World Grand Prix got to witness some craziness earlier today at weigh-ins when Ian McCall got into an altercation with opponent Manel Kape which lead to a few blows being thrown.

Brazilian grappler Gabi Garcia who missed the weight with whopping 26 pounds, touched the scale with 236.94 lbs above the contracted weight of 209. Her opponent 53-year-old wrestler Shinobu Kandori certainly wasn’t happy with Gabi’s weight and lose her temper. kandori tipped the scales at just 162.25 pounds. The bout was reportedly called off immediately.

Brazilian fighter Gabi fought twice in 2017, but both of those contests ended in no-contests.

Garcia was supposed to face Kandori (4-1) back in Dec. 2016, but the Japanese fighter Shinobu was pulled out of the bout due to an injury. Kandori was replaced by 49-year-old Yumiko Hotta, who Garcia beat in 41 seconds.

As per MMAFighting, Garcia said that she reached Japan a day before the weigh-ins, and claims that she missed weight by 8.8 pounds.
