Hey guys, there’s a fight going on this weekend. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of it but it’s on a channel called FOX from an organization called UFC. On the card is a title fight against Nate Diaz vs. Ben Henderson. There’s also another bout, some dude named Shogun Rua that fought in a Japanese organization called Pride FC. They say he was the former UFC light heavyweight champion, but I’m not entirely sure about it. He’s fighting a newcomer from Sweden called Alexander Gustafsson. Some people say he’s the next greatest light heavyweight to emerge from the UFC ranks — but I’ve never heard of the guy. I guess he fought some janitor dude — and destroyed him. Next up is a Hawaiian fighter named BJ Penn who (from what I’m told) has a strong fascination with licking the blood off his gloves after he fights. He’s fighting a Canadian fashion model named Rory MacDonald. It should be interesting to see how the fashion industry crosses over to the MMA world. I bet he’ll have amazing looking shorts.
Apparently this UFC organization has a few more fights on lined up for your television — far too many to name here. However, someone named Spencer Lazara from MMAInterviews walked around with a microphone and stuck it in the face of fighters to see who will win the bout between Nate Diaz and Ben Henderson. Microphones, what are those things? Wait — who are you? Where did you come from — and these words — what are they made of?
