There’s a whole bunch of jacking going on in MMA. From the Rashad evans swagger jacking, to the persistent walk out hat jacking, to GSP supporting pre-fight self love style jacking–it seems as though jacking is just running rampant in MMA. No one and nothing is safe from jacking. If this was early an 90’s gangster rap battle, Ice Cube would bust out yelling, “even if you’re down with my crew-I’ll jack them too!”.
Not even Paulo Thiago’s super Brazilian police powers could stop all the hat jackers at UFC 134 this weekend. Silva and Nog’s hats were swiped from atop their noggins with brazen forceful aggression. Gone are the hats that rested upon the heads of the mighty warriors as they walked out to battle. There was one battle hat that narrowly escaped an attempted jacking and that was Edson Barboza’s hat. Could it have been the Safe Auto Insurance logo that saved Barboza’s hat, or maybe his hat is simply as fast as his kicks?
