Watch Ariel Helwani and Ryo Chonan stealthily infiltrate the Tsukiji fish Market on a quest to film the secret of ‘the big tuna’

Ariel Helwani really likes fish. As a matter of fact he likes fish so much when he went to UFC Japan last week and hung out with Ryo Chonan he only had one thing on his mind:The big tuna-finding the big tuna, and eating some very big tuna. Well, he did manage to think a little bit about Ryo’s famous submission victory over Anderson Silva back at Pride Shockwave 2005, but this image was obviously just floating in his brain waters swimming amongst a school of giant tuna images. He was so anxious to go to the famous Tsukiji Fish Market to find his dream tuna that he forced Ryo to become his accomplice on a covert pre-sunrise fish finding mission.

The pair managed to blend in with the fish mongers by sporting some lovely flourescent green mesh vests. As they made their way through the market, it appeared Ariel and his team had some expert undercover camera hiding skills. No one suspected anything fishy was taking place as they filmed the secret buying and selling rituals of the market. Amazing work. Thanks to Ariel’s obsession with fish and Ryo’s willingness to go along for the ride, all of you that have lost sleep over wondering what goes on behind the scenes of a Japanese fish market can watch this video and have all of your questions answered. Check it out.
