Watch Alistair Overeem spar with Gokhan Saki and someone tell us who ‘won’

It was the break-up that crushed the nation. Cars were flipped over, convenience stores were burned, rocks were thrown at police with plastic shields and it was because Alistair Overeem removed himself from the enigmatic Dutch camp known as ‘Golden Glory.’ It appeared as if Alistair Overeem had a symbiotic relationship with Martijn de Jong, until Overeem claimed that a ‘breach of trust’ was broken between Golden Glory. Don’t let me explain it. I have no idea what I’m talking about. I just ate an entire cucumber I found inside my sofa — I’m not the model of factual authority at the moment.

Overeem then went to the Blackzilians and unfortunately managed to go 0-2 in 2013. Seeing that joining a gym that appears to be named after a 70s Blaxploitation movie starring Ron O’Neal, he left the camp and traveled to Thailand to improve his stand-up. Now it appears that The Reem has made his way back to The Netherlands — but at Mike’s Gym, not Golden Glory. Check out this clip of Alistair sparing with former K-1 opponent Gokhan Saki.
