I wasn’t too familiar with Todd Duffee until his bust of a fight this past NYE at Dynamite!! 2010 against Alistair Overeem. I don’t need to reiterate what happened to poor Todd that night. I felt bad for the guy. Plus it’s sad that he has a testosterone deficiency at such a young age and has to be on testosterone replacement medication.
All smirky steroid insinuation aside, the guy is massive (yet still looked small next to Übereem) and as confident in my BJJ as I am, I would not be psyched to compete against him no-gi. Check out this odd/awkward match he had in the absolute division of a local Colorado no-gi tournament that went down this past weekend. Props to the matador in tights (i.e., Todd’s opponent).
