WAMMA confirmed on EA’s ‘MMA’ Game

Shortly after the UFC released their ridunkulously addictive game UFC: Undisputed (Fabricio Werdum cheats everytime) which is the primary reason why I don’t have a girlfriend, EA Sports announced they’re creating a game currently titled ‘MMA’ after the dust cleared from the entire unvierse saying ‘Dude, I want to play as Gina Carano so I can mount other chicks‘ (raises his hand) everyone finally realized that since THQ nabbed the rights to the UFC (up until 2010 at least) who would EA realistically place in the game? They could go the route of Blitz the League and create a generic sports game whose main drive was not the licensing of a major organization, but the drama and storyline (think Days of our Lives meets professional football). But what’s the fun in that and above all, it would kill everyone’s dream of seeing Gina Carano in a north-south position with Michelle Waterson (hands above the desk people).

Go on Wamma’s official site and you will see an EA Sports logo on the left side. Now unless Dave Szady is just a massive fan of Madden and Dead Space (great game), then that can only me one thing. WAMMA is officially onboard with EA Sports. This means Strikeforce, Adrenaline MMA, M-1 Global and Affliction will all be under one roof (or Xbox) whenever this game drops. Your days of Brett Rogers vs. Fedor Emelianenko have arrived. Now excuse me while I get a bag of ice because I think I’ve broken my ankle jumping the gun here.
