Walt Harris Takes Split Decision Win Over Andrei Arlovski
Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski (27-17 MMA, 16-11 UFC) squared off against Walt Harris (11-7 MMA, 4-6 UFC) on the FOX Sports 1-broadcast preliminary portion of tonight’s (Sat., Dec. 29, 2018) UFC 232 PPV event from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
Final result: Harris def. Arlovski by split decision
Harris closed the FS1 era with a huge victory, scores a split-decision nod. Honestly speaking there wasn’t a ton of excitement in this fight. In the opening frame, we got to see the most action, when the pair took turns landing flurries of punches.
In the end, Harris landed enough to sway two judges and had more of gas left in his tank to end the bout.
After tonight’s victory, Harris is now 12-7, while Arlovski 39, is now a three-fight losing streak.
