Last night on Twitter, I made a comment somewhere along the lines of ‘Waachiim Spiritwolf should headline every card for Bellator, forever. Ever.’ Even twenty-four hours after Waachim Spiritwolf vs. Jaime Jara at Bellator 35, that statement still holds true, and unfortunately you guys were unable to see undoubtedly the bloodiest fight of 2011 and perhaps even a candidate for top five bloodiest fights of all time. In fact, the fight was so messy, there’s a chance MTV2 will not show the bout in any future broadcast. At the post-fight press conference, Bjorn Rebney mentioned that Bellator will place Waachim Spiritwolf vs. Jaime Jara on their YouTube account, but even that’s not guaranteed. As of right now, there’s a possibility the world may never see this fight, much like Stefan Struve vs Denis Stojnic at UFC 99. The best we could do was to get each fighter’s take on the bout — and get the camera as close to the gashes on their face as possible.
