Volkan Oezdemir Forced Out Of UFC 227 Event Due To Injury
UFC light heavyweight contender, Volkan Oezdemir who got cleared of Felony Charges after the victim failed to cooperate and was scheduled to face Alexander Gustafsson at the upcoming UFC 227 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down on Sat., Aug. 4, 2018, in Los Angeles, California.
Unfortunately, Oezdemir forced to withdraw from his bout against Gustafsson due to injury (broken nose) according to a recent report by ESPN
UFC currently seeking a replacement for Gustafsson, with the promotion has few weeks left to get this bout ready. “The Mauler’ must be total frustrated.

It marks the third time Oezdemir out of his scheduled bout; previously he had visa issues that prevented him from fighting at UFC Chile event back in May, then he supposed to face Mauricio Rua at UFC Fight Night 134 later this month, then UFC shift him against Gustaffson.
Oezdemir who last fought in January, where he lost to Daniel Cormier via second-round TKO.
Gustafsson last fought in May 2017, where he won the bout via fifth-round knockout of Glover Teixeira.
UFC 227 is set to go down on Aug. 4 in Los Angeles, with the main headliner features a bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw will look to defend his belt against former rival Cody Garbrandt.
