Vitor Belfort has been removed from UFC 122 and will get an instant title shot against Anderson Silva

Today just illustrates your need to incorporate Twitter into your life and register for an account (and if you’re already on, follow @MiddleEasy). Sure messages are referred to as effeminate ‘tweets’, but if it didn’t exist, there would be no way you would know that Vitor Belfort is not injured and has been pulled from UFC 122 to face Anderson Silva (presumably on a New Year’s Eve card or a day before the Superbowl). Last night, the news broke that Nate Marquardt will replace Belfort and face Okami at UFC 122. Today, Dana White confirms that the winner of UFC 122 will received a title shot.
