Rest in peace to Bellator lightweight Jordan Parsons. You deserved better than this. Born on August 26, 1990, Parsons passed away on May 4, 2016 following a hit-and-run accident over the weekend. The 25 year old Parsons was walking a few blocks from the Blackzilians gym in Delray Beach, Florida when he was struck by a silver Range Rover SUV.
In critical condition, Parsons had to have his leg amputated following the incident. The driver of the SUV has still not been found or contacted by local police.

Parsons was signed by Bellator in 2014, and went 2-1 under the promotion’s banner. Prior to competing in Bellator, Parsons posted a 9-1 record and was widely pegged as a top shelf 145 pound prospect. Before his accident, Parsons was scheduled to take on Adam Piccolotti at Bellator 154 on May 14th.
MMA journalist Jordan Lynch had Parsons on his show The Parting Shot last week. Watch the full Parsons interview below.
