When you’re a 22 year old quarterback of a college football powerhouse you can pull off flirting with the world’s most dangerous woman. Ronda Rousey could crush Ohio State Cardale Jones and his uncanny self esteem levels if she really wanted to but instead she decided to read some tweets. While at the ESPY Awards Jones decided to use his famed twitter prowess to attract the attention of not only the female athlete of year award winner but also the fighter of year recipient.
The Cardale Jones story on the Ohio State football team was full of mathematical improbabilities so flirting with Rousey may have actually made sense when broken down to the raw numbers.
Jones began the season as a third string back-up, then through a handful of injures he was thrust into the starting role for the final game of the season. The 6’5 265 pound redshirt sophomore managed to lead his team to a victory followed by two more playoffs wins over favored Alabama and Oregon squads to bring his university a National Championship for the first time in over a decade.
Cool story bro, now go and try to hit on the UFC 135 pound champion as well as the promotion’s biggest star. Rousey via compassion and understanding the struggle of the single life.
