Can’t do it. We really tried. The Ultimate Fighter season 27 premieres tonight (Apr. 18) and we wanted to give it a chance.
No TV show should run the same exact format for 13 straight years. No real changes, too few attempts at making seasons standout from each other.
Since maybe season 10 (?), this happens every single time when a new season of TUF premieres. Fans, media and anyone who values their time spent watching TV, cries about how TUF should no longer exist.
We tried to watch the TUF 27 trailer with an open mind and we got head kicked in the face for it.
This looks unbelievable boring. Watching paint dry defeats TUF 27 in R1.
We love MMA. We watch reality TV but TUF 27 may be the worst combination of both.
The UFC has fed us a ham sandwich on white bread for 27 consecutive meals and we want to like it still but we can’t. Good luck TUF 27, if anything wild happens (and it looks like it won’t) we’ll catch you on Twitter.
