This is horrifying. This is why the UFC needs to hire Rickson Gracie to patrol the beaches outside of future Brazilian host hotels. Rickson just pummeling dudes in the sand, all in the name of protecting the UFC 224 staff.
Last night (May 10) a group of UFC 224 staff members, along with fighter personnel, were armed at gunpoint outside of the host hotel. Passports, credit cards and other valuable items were taken from them.
Just spoke to UFC president Dana White about an incident that is apparently ongoing right now in Brazil. White was just told several employees and others associated with UFC 224 were held up at gunpoint near the host hotel in Rio. No one hurt. Police involved now.
