The rap game done changed. Probably but you can imagine in another universe where UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson is a fantastic hip hop superstar.
We’ve seen a ton of MMA stars try to crossover into the acting world but where are all our human cage fighters with musical chops at? Where’s the 12 person MMA jam band that hooks up during International Fight week?

Until we can find a MMA heavyweight who plays classical piano, a MMA flyweight with a passion for opera singing or an atomweight in a pop punk band, we’ll settle for Michelle Waterson spitting bars.
Waterson’s next fight comes at UFC 229 versus Felice Herrig. We picture this 115 pound eliminator headlining the UFC Fox on portion of UFC 229 undercard. The UFC needs more personalities on the their undercard and both Waterson and Herrig fits the bill. This should be a good feud.
Both Michelle and Felice need to stack some wins together to move anywhere near a 115 pound title shot in 2019. This fight has stakes, as neither fighter can afford a loss and a long tumble back down the 115 pound ladder.
Hopefully Michelle Waterson is integrating “poolside hip hop yelled through a megaphone” into her UFC 229 training camp. Here is The Karate Hottie (got to run that nickname back through the rap name generator) rapping “No Money, No Honey” by the pool in Vegas and generally just wilding out in life.
