Video: Melvin Guillard knocks out two guys, punches one girl in wild bar fight

Melvin Guillard bar fight

Hope he got his win bonus for that. Melvin Guillard is back in the win column. Sure the fight was open-weight. And sure it took place in a random bar but a win’s a win at this point.

A loser of eight straight MMA fights, five by KO/TKO, the 35-year-old Young-ish Assassin was hanging out in a Colorado bar when he got into an altercation with three different people over Labor Day weekend. Two dudes were KO’d by Melvin while he also punched a woman trying to take part in the impromptu gauntlet match.

Intergender Street MMA is alwasy frowned upon.

Now Melvin is wanted by Colorado police for charges stemming from the bar fight.

We have implored Melvin Guillard to retire from MMA here and again here. Then there was that one time where he lost again where we said he should retire here.

Too many L’s.

Back in 2010, holy hell it’s been ten years and time is a flat circle, between being booted and signed again by the UFC, I watched Melvin take a fight versus a local 8-7 fighter at a Rage in the Cage event. The card took place at a venue meant for concerts, with the cage placed a top of a stage meant to rotate while your favorite pop punk band sang into the mic.

Guillard was in the main event that night and won by unanimous decision in which it just looked like Melvin was simply trying not to hurt his opponent.

The Young-ish Assassin has been doing this MMA dance as a pro since 2002. Moving to 2-0 with one no contest in Colorado Street MMA, maybe catching some charges will finally nudge Guillard to look at life outside fighting inside a cage?
