Can “one working MCL” Luke Rockhold defeat Michael Bisping at UFC 199? Coming out of the pre-fight press conference for UFC 199 that became the card’s biggest w”hat if”. For pro athletes MCL tears usually put them on the shelf for eight to 12 weeks, but when your as cocky as Luke Rockhold maybe you only need one MCL to make your first successful middleweight title defense.
“Two weeks notice” Bisping ruled the press conference with an assort of verbal jabs flung at Rockhold. When it was time to face-off Bisping had a few more F-bombs to lob at Rockhold before Friday’s weigh-ins. One MCL Rockhold versus two week Bisping rematch goes down this weekend at UFC 199.
