The sage of Jon Jones added another chapter today (Feb. 27) in California. Kneeling at the feet of the California State Athletic Commission for his drug bust by USADA, Jon Jones got his ass kicked today in the court of public opinion.
Bones verbally got choked out and had his body dropped on the floor by the CSAC. Jones and his defense ate a sharp elbow that crushed their orbital bone today. The low lights from today’s commission hearing are below.

UFC fighter Jon Jones, through his attorney, acknowledges that a banned steroid was in his system but says he has "no idea" how it got in his system.

CSAC expert Dr. Eichner says he has never heard of a supplement being contaminated by Turinabol.
That's… not a good look. The USADA 411 list has some. It has definitely happened. Raises questions about how much research he has done into that particular thing.#JonesCSAC

Then the hearing went on for nearly three hours. Yes, three hours the MMA world will never have back. During the hearing never really admitted to not taking steroids but the crux of his argument was the old “I can’t possibly be that dumb” defense. Really that was it. Jones also admitted under oath he paid out nearly $1 million dollars in his hit and run civil case in 2015 and had his managers forge his signature on USADA documents as well as allowing them to take online course for him.
Boned.
Foster says he wants to revoke Jones’ license, wait for USADA’s discipline and then he’ll consider Jones getting his license back. Foster also recommends a $205,000 fine (40% of his disclosed purse for the second Cormier fight, plus additional $5k).

CSAC revokes Jon Jones's license and fines him $205,000. The vote was 6-0.
Jones heads to USADA next and I doubt he'll be coddled there.
Bottom line, Jones won't fight for a while. How long will be dependent on what USADA does.
