Sometimes an MMA nickname couldn’t be more on the nose. For former UFC Welterweight champion, turned Middleweight disaster, Johny Hendricks, nothing could describe him quite as perfectly as “Big Rigg”.
So it’s only fitting that when Johny Hendricks announces that he is moving his training camp to Albuquerque, and the hallowed hall of Greg Jackson and Mike WInkeljohn, of course an over-sized truck had to be involved.

I love that Johny Hendricks thought it was necessary for his fans to see him hitching an RV trailer to a big truck to illustrate just how excited he is about this new change in camp. It’s like he thought, “How can I get them to know I’m serious? Let’s show them prepping the motor home!” The truck backing up took twice as long as the camp change announcement. I feel like it’s important to note that Hendrick’s white pickup featured is probably the smallest truck he owns. It’s not even close to his biggest truck, which I’m not sure can be legally driven on public streets outside of Texas and Oklahoma. I can only imagine how many fast food wrappers accumulate on that truck’s floor during a road trip to New Mexico.
For what it’s worth, Johny Hendricks does look excited at a fresh start. But hey, he could just be pumped because he found out they got Whataburgers in Albuquerque too.
