Former UFC light heavyweight champions, Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, had heated face off during the seventh annual red carpet ceremony of UFC Hall Of Fame on Thursday (July 5, 2018) at Palms Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Last week it was confirmed Liddell, and Tito Ortiz is coming out of retirement for the third fight in their mixed martial arts rivalry under the Golden Boy MMA promotion later this year.
48-year-old “The Iceman” and 43-year-old “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” are among the most accomplished fighters in MMA history and pioneers in their sport. Both have fought previously, where Liddell knocked out Ortiz at UFC 47 in 2004 and UFC 66 in 2006.
Liddell hasn’t fought since June 2010, when he retired following five losses in six bouts.
Ortiz successfully retired in January 2017 after beating Chael Sonnen at Bellator 170.
