Video: Aaron Pico Ethers Justin Lynn at Bellator 183

After his blue chip prospect’s inaugural loss, Scott Coker must have be very anxious about Aaron Pico’s return to the Bellator cage. As it happened, he really didn’t have much to worry about.

Aaron Pico hit Justin Linn with a short left that displaced Linn’s consciousness by a dimension or two. It’s just brutal.

I feel like I’d be remiss not to mention (just like Mauro Ranallo did earlier in the fight) that Linn didn’t even have training partners for his training camp. Talk about a tale of two cities. You mean the guy who trains with Freddie Roach knocked out the dude who didn’t spar during his camp? Well, now this KO seem like business as usual for Scott Coker and Bellator. When your 0-1 uber-prospect needs a win, find a guy who hasn’t won a fight since 2014.

But I don’t know, it still says something about Aaron Pico’s skills that he’s already evolved past RFA veterans in only his second MMA fight. But still, it seems like “Mortal Sin” Justin Linn might have just been an birthday gift from Coker and the boys. Because that clip is a money-making highlight.
