Intensity is sure building up in the main event meeting between Dominick Cruz and Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera.

Ahead of slugging it out at UFC San Diego, the two opponents would be opposite each other in a face-to-face interview. At the end of the sit-down, their pre-fight mentalities would be revealed.

Vera Is Willing To Die In The Octagon

Both bantamweights are willing to put it all on the line and leave everything inside the cage, come Saturday.

“I’m going to come Saturday night, I’m going to fight my ass off,” Vera said to Cruz. “Everybody knows I’m willing to die in there. I’m not f*cking around.

“This is my life, I do it for my family. I want to be a world champion. That’s it.”

‘It’s A Good Day To Die’

Cruz’s mindset aligned perfectly with that of Vera’s. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion is bringing the same energy.

“I’m also here to be a world champion,” Cruz replied. “I also fight for my family. I’m willing to die too, so the fans are lucky. It’s a good day to die.”

While the quotes were nothing but cold-blooded, let’s hope there’s no need for body-bags in this intense UFC main event.
