Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko To Nicco Montano: ‘Sign The Fight Agreement’

UFC women’s flyweight contender Valentina Shevchenko wants title fight next. ‘Bullet’ is losing her patience as she was supposed to be Nicco’s first challenge as champion at UFC on FOX 30 on July 28. However Montano didn’t accept the fight in Calgary, but she is expected to be back in action by the end of the summer as she’s sitting idle due to health issues.

Montano scores the UFC’s inaugural women’s 125-pound title with a five-round beatdown of veteran Roxanne Modafferi at Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale this past December.

Nicco finally says she’s ready to fight Shevchenko on September 8 via recent social media post:

”Alright, let’s get this show on the road!” Montano wrote on Instagram. “What you got on your girl, Sept 8th in Vegas, Valentina! Now that I’m finally back to a healthy body I’m ready to go, it was only a matter of time!”

Valentina fires back at Nicco suggesting that she still hasn’t signed the bout agreement yet:

“Hey Nicco, finally! Sign the fight agreement first. You changed your word once already. No trust before I will see the paper from you. See you in octagon ”

Shevchenko captured her flyweight belt with a debut victory over Priscila Cachoeira at UFC Fight Night 125 this past February. ‘Bullet’ nearly defeated current 135-pound champ Amanda Nunes back at UFC 215 but lost the race by a very narrow split decision.
