Uros Medic demonstrated why he is one of the UFC’s most feared knockout artists, finishing Muslim Salikhov in just 63 seconds at UFC Vegas 111. Medic’s rapid victory mirrored his previous performance, where he also scored a first-round stoppage in the same time frame against Gilbert Urbina.
The fight began with both strikers feeling each other out, but it quickly became clear that Medic was dictating the pace. Known for his aggressive boxing, Medic quickly closed the distance and set up a perfectly timed straight left hand. The punch sent Salikhov stumbling to the canvas, and Medic followed with relentless ground strikes until the referee ended the bout.
With this win, Medic now holds a 3-1 record over his last four fights and 12-3 overall. He has maintained a 100 percent finishing rate in the UFC and throughout his professional career.

Medic made his intentions clear after the fight, saying:
“Everybody knows I come in here to fight. Win or lose, I’m coming to put on a show. These guys need to stop skimming me on these bonuses. Sure I lose sometimes, but I’m just a human being. I’m going to come back here and put on a show every goddamn time.”
He also emphasized his confidence in his approach to this matchup:
“I said it’s going to be his kicking versus my boxing and I know I’m going to come out on top.”
