I did horrible on my SAT, but let me draw an analogy that hopefully any high schooler could easily comprehend. Anderson Silva is to Brazilian fans in Brazil as Urijah Faber is to Northern California fans in San Jose. Now that we have a firm understanding with rudimentary SAT formatted questions, let’s move on to that one time when Uriajh Faber defeated Brian Bowlkes by opening his mouth abnormally wide and devouring Brian Bowles’ soul at UFC 139.
Literally, Uriajh Faber took everything Bowles had to offer and politely disregarded it though the means of a nasty upper cut early in the second round. Faber then continued on his path of absolute destruction by carpet-bombing Bowles’ torso with enough knees, punches and elbows to put a dent in the US economy. Oh wait, we have corporations with political interests to do that. Faber ended the fight by sinking a nasty guillotine in to force Bowles to tap. Props to Faber on grabbing another title shot tonight at UFC 139.
