UFC Vegas 121 produced three official bonus slots after a finish-heavy card at Meta APEX, with Luis Hernandez, Yazmin Jauregui, Raul Rosas Jr. and Raoni Barcelos leaving the event with the extra awards.

UFC’s official bonus coverage named Hernandez and Jauregui as the Performance of the Night winners. The promotion also selected Rosas Jr. vs. Barcelos as Fight of the Night after the five-round main event ended with Rosas stopping Barcelos in the final round.

The announcement gives the card a clear post-fight ledger. Hernandez was rewarded for the fastest official finish on the card, Jauregui was recognized for her first-round return, and both main-event bantamweights were paid for the fight that carried the longest and bloodiest arc of the night.

Hernandez Turned A Late Call Into A Bonus

Hernandez submitted Sedriques Dumas in 50 seconds on the main card. UFC’s bonus write-up noted that he stepped in on two days’ notice, connected early, turned the opening exchange into a grappling sequence and forced the tap with a guillotine choke.

That context matters because Hernandez was not working through a normal fight week. He entered the bout with a large scale advantage after Dumas missed weight, then ended the fight before it could become a prolonged light heavyweight scramble. The official bonus confirms that the late-replacement result was treated as more than a quick statistical note.

It also continues a fast turnaround for Hernandez. UFC’s page pointed out that the unbeaten prospect had earned his contract on Dana White’s Contender Series less than two weeks earlier. The bonus therefore came in his promotional debut, after a short-notice assignment that could have easily become a risky first impression.

Jauregui Was Paid For Her First-Round Return

Jauregui stopped Vanessa Demopoulos just over a minute into their strawweight bout. UFC’s official recap said she found her rhythm early, hurt Demopoulos with a right hand and kept punching until the referee intervened.

The award was tied to the way Jauregui returned after two years away from the Octagon. Her fight did not need judges, a comeback round or a long tactical read. She landed clean, built on the first clear opening and forced the stoppage before Demopoulos could settle into a different phase.

That finish moved Jauregui to 5-2 in UFC competition, according to the official bonus page. It also separated her result from the more routine decisions on the card because the sequence was concise, visually clear and decisive enough for the promotion to single it out.

Rosas-Barcelos Took Fight Of The Night

Rosas and Barcelos shared Fight of the Night after the main event reached Round 5. Rosas finished the bout at 1:38 of the final round, closing his first UFC main event with a slam-and-punch sequence after Barcelos had made him work through a difficult, bloody fight.

The award fits the shape of the bout. Rosas was already a high-interest headliner because of his age and momentum, but the bonus was not just for name value. The official coverage described a back-and-forth battle before Rosas found a second wind, pushed the pace and ended the night with the stoppage.

Barcelos also belongs in the bonus line because Fight of the Night is shared. Even in defeat, his resistance helped create the kind of main event the promotion chose to reward after the card.

Nothing in the official list changed the bout results already posted from the event. The bonus page simply added the promotion’s post-fight awards layer.

The final bonus list is therefore compact: Performance of the Night for Hernandez, Performance of the Night for Jauregui, and Fight of the Night for Rosas Jr. vs. Barcelos. Each award came from a different part of the card, which gave UFC Vegas 121 a cleaner post-fight split than one centered around a single finish.
