“I’m just saying I rolled with Islam a lot, he’s very good,” Rockhold said on JAXXON podcast. “I’ve rolled with [Arman], I don’t think it will be as hard. No, [Islam] has never submitted me. I love the guy, he’s dangerous, he’s hard as hell, him and Khabib [Nurmagomedov]. I was 185 pounds, they were 155 pounds.”
“Daniel Cormier is the biggest liar,” Rockhold added. “How do you think he makes good TV? Because he just lies his way through TV. One thing that Daniel would always say, ‘if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying.’ He would slip fingers, he would do whatever he’s gotta do to get out of there. There’s certain levels to it.”
Even though he denied the story, Rockhold had good things to say about Islam Makhachev. He thinks Makhachev is one of the toughest fighters in the UFC. Rockhold also said he believes Makhachev will beat Arman Tsarukyan in their fight at UFC 311.
Luke Rockhold is no longer in the UFC. He left in 2022 after losing three fights in a row. Since then, he has tried new things like bare-knuckle boxing and Karate Combat. Earlier this year, he even won a big fight in Karate Combat.
