- Belal Muhammad has joined the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings as Tom Aspinall moved up two spots
- Paddy Pimblett has finally become a Top-15 lightweight
Belal Muhammad, Tom Aspinall and Paddy Pimblett made great strides in the UFC rankings following their impressive performances at UFC 304.
Belal debuts on the pound-for-pound list while Tom moves up
Muhammad and Aspinall were the biggest winners at UFC 304 with both successfully securing a title to their names. As a result, “Remember The Name” has now made his pound-for-pound debut and landed at 6th, while “Honey Badger” climbed two spots up to clinch the No. 9 spot, leapfrogging Max Holloway, Dricus Du Plessis and Alexandre Pantoja.

“The Baddy” breaks through
After submitting King Green, “The Baddy” finally broke into the lightweight division’s Top 15. The win over Green was Pimblett’s first victory against a ranked lightweight fighter and it’s only proper that he is now amongst the division’s top contenders.

Other notable changes in the official UFC rankings was Arnold Allen’s return to the top five of the featherweight division. His decision win over Giga Chikadze saw “Almighty” sharing the No. 5 spot with his former rival Movsar Evloev.
At flyweight, Muhammad Mokaev failed to deliver a performance that would prompt the UFC to extend his contract. UFC president Dana White confirmed that the undefeated 125-er will be cut and his exit paved the way for Cody Durden’s return to the division’s Top 15.
