Without a doubt one of the most compelling matches in the UFC of late has to be Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier. Cormier earned his shot against Jon Jones earlier this year when Alexander Gustafsson was sidelined with an injury and the UFC made the decision to sub in the former Heavyweight after two impressive performances at Light Heavyweight. Jon Jones, of course, took it as an insult that he would be fighting Cormier. Since then the war of the words has been underway and we even got a pull-apart-brawl in the summer.
The UFC has detailed the leadup to the UFC 182 showdown between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier in this video. They even show a bit more of that whole leaked video of Jones and Cormier trashing on each other after an interview. The look on Jon Jones’s face when they tell him that the video feed was still live and being fed out was hilarious and worth a watch alone.
