Melissa Mullins was supposed to fight Montserrat Rendon at UFC Vegas 100 on Saturday, but she couldn’t fight and was replaced by someone new.

Melissa, from Poland, had won 6 fights and only lost 1, which happened during her very first fight in January 2021.

Sadly, her first fight in the UFC didn’t go as she hoped.

Mullins didn’t make weight again and had to give some of her money to her opponent for the second time in a row, but everything in the fight went as planned.

In the first round, the fighters took their time to feel each other out. When Mullins got the fight to the ground, she was able to take control.

Mullins climbed on top and hit Sygula with strong punches in the last few seconds of the first round, showing what was coming next.

In round two, Sygula made a mistake and got taken down. She couldn’t get back up as Mullins worked her way into a better spot and hit hard punches from above.

Sygula couldn’t defend herself anymore, so the referee stopped the fight, giving Mullins the win.

After the fight, Sygula was very sad and cried as she went on her Instagram story to say sorry to all the fans who were cheering for her to win at UFC Vegas 100.

“Debuts are certainly not my forte. I apologize to everyone who cheered, who I let down, but I think I let myself down the most, because this is not what I’ve been waiting for all my life

“That’s the way the sport goes. I know I will turn this into a success, I just need time.

“Once again, I apologize to everyone. My heart hurts, but I’ve been through difficult moments more than once in this career, so I know I’ll come back stronger.”

Even though she stepped in for a last-minute fight against an opponent who didn’t make weight, it’s clear that Klaudia will get another chance in the UFC.
