The UFC Hilariously Gets a DMCA Notice Against Itself

If there were any greater evidence of a failed system, perhaps the system would be fixed. Simply put, automated detection for copyright claims just doesn’t work. Not only does it not take into consideration content protected by free speech, but there are millions of errors and false claims that result in the process. In a perfect example of this, the UFC got their own damn content pulled from a DMCA claim against themselves!

Maybe if the UFC produced GIFs that didn’t look like a 1920’s silent film, internet ninjas wouldn’t have to produce their own despite threats of assassination. Not only that, but fans and media are going to talk about the results and dig up(or create) any footage they can find anyway(and we will find it). Why not release the highest quality clips available of the violence possible which actually has your logo all over it? Some other MMA organizations have done this but…
