The second fight of the UFC on Fox 26 main card occurred in the talent-rich UFC welterweight division, where all-action knockout artists Santiago Ponzinibbio and “Platinum” Mike Perry collided in an early frontrunner for Fight of the Night honors.
Santiago Ponzinibbio won an epic unanimous decision over Mike Perry in what became a bit of an entertaining bloodbath.
With this thrilling win, Ponzinibbio extends his current win-streak to six-straight.
Now a fantastic 26-3 overall, Ponzinibbio called post-fight for an interim welterweight title fight with the winner of UFC on Fox 26’s Robbie Lawler vs. Rafael dos Anjos main event.
Perry, meanwhile, 11-2 overall, and 4-2 in the Octagon.
