UFC 327 got through Friday morning with its main event intact and only one miss on the early results sheet. That was the big hurdle for a card built around a vacant light heavyweight title fight and several meaningful names across the rest of the lineup.

With the belt now vacant, the scale mattered most at the top of the card, where Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg avoided any last-minute chaos. Elsewhere, the board stayed mostly clean, and the only fighter listed as missing was Chris Padilla.

The main thing the UFC needed was a smooth path to Saturday, and it got one. The title fight survived, the rest of the card stayed in place, and the promotion avoided the kind of weigh-in mess that can hijack an entire fight week. After all the strange noise already attached to this event, including the Prochazka moment at media day, that is probably enough good news for one morning.
