UFC is getting ready for UFC 226 Pay Per View (PPV) event: Miocic vs. Cormier, which is set to go down Saturday night (July 7, 2018) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The main headliner features a heavyweight showdown, where Stipe Miocic will look to defend his title against light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. Meanwhile, in the co-feature featherweight champion, Max Holloway, was supposed to defend his 145-pound strap against undefeated No. 1-ranked contender, Brian Ortega, but “Blessed” was pulled out earlier this week with “concussion-like symptoms.” Later UFC promoted the heavyweight knockout artists Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis bout to co-main event.
UFC officials held the UFC 226 official weigh-ins earlier on Friday, where all the fighters went to scale.
