UFC 226: Will Max Holloway Defeat Mexican Supreme Talent Brian Ortega?

Max Holloway and Brian Ortega will cross their gloves at the co-main event of UFC 226.

Max Holloway is on the road of becoming the best Featherweight of all time. He is on a hot streak and undefeated for a very long period of time! We believe this will be the most popular Featherweight collision since Jose Aldo Vs Conor McGregor back at UFC 194! The two are going to face each other on UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) event next month in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 7th.

It looks like Blessed is ready for everything, even a deathmatch versus T-City, a son of Mexican immigrants, who is still undefeated and has victories over notable names like Frankie Edgar, Cub Swanson, and Clay Guida. Max Holloway is very cautious when it comes to media statements. (via MMAMania.com)

“Back in the day, they used to fight to the death, and that’s what he fights for,” Holloway told MMA Junkie. “He pretty much fights to the death. He fights for the finish. He’s dangerous all the time, he’s dangerous all rounds, so I’ve got to step up my game. At the end of the day, Brian’s just another cupcake – but a different flavor, and I like horchata.”

Currently, Max Holloway (19-3) has 12 victories in a row. An avid gamer defeated Jose Aldo, the most successful Featherweight fighter when it comes to the title reign length, two times back at UFC 212 and UFC 218. Blessed is last time defeated via unanimous decision to Conor McGregor in 2013!

Brian Ortega (14-0, 1 NC) has never felt the bitter taste in his mouth. He punched his way through 145-pound division, showing everybody how dangerous he can be. T-City made the biggest surprise when he smashed Frankie Edgar in UFC 222 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event last February in Las Vegas, Nevada. One thing is certain, T-City is not the type of opponent you want to see on the other side of the octagon!

So, what do you think? Would you bet on Max Holloway or Brian Ortega at the co-main event of UFC 226? Is it going to be a Hawaiian gamer or the Mexican boy who grew up having nothing and pushed his way through? Please leave us your comments!
