UFC 224, is set to take place this Saturday night (May 12, 2018) at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be headlined by UFC women’s bantamweight title bout between Amanda Nunes and Raquel Pennington.
Amanda Nunes scored the bantamweight championship, at UFC 200 by defeating MMA pioneer Miesha Tate via submission in the first round on July 9, 2016. In the last outing, Brazilian defeated Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 215 by decision last year.
Raquel Pennington last fought at UFC 205 and won the fight by unanimous decision against Miesha Tate.
The co-main event features a middleweight contenders Ronaldo Souza who will face an uprising of welterweight import Kelvin Gastelum.
The main event also features some great fights, which include legend Vitor Belfort will battle against Lyoto Machida, a submission specialist and rising talent Mackenzie Dern’s staredown with her second UFC opponent Amanda Bobby Cooper.
