UFC 161 just went from an injured Renan Barao, to Dan Henderson vs. Rashad Evans for the main event

We're digging Dana White's new UFC 160 vlog, so watch it

Am I the only one taking note that UFC 161 is exactly ten events removed from the infamous UFC 151 card that never was. Not only that, but Dan Henderson has been pegged to headline both events? This means something in the grand scheme of things — perhaps some intercontinental conspiracy theory that involves shape-shifting reptilians and Beyonce. I prefer my conspiracy theories much like I prefer my milk, whole. Nothing too whacky and with as little holes as possible — although, it’s impossible to place a hole in milk. Well, unless you freeze a cup of milk and then puncture holes in it, but if you go to that extent, you’re just a ridiculous human being.

With Renan Barao injured, MMAJunkie is reporting that Dan Henderson vs. Rashad Evans will now headline UFC 161 in a three-round light heavyweight main event on June 15th in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Manitoba is a real place, and the UFC will prove it by erecting an Octagon somewhere out there. Sure it’s a weird place to have two heroic figures like Evans and Henderson square off — but it’s no stranger than having Renan Barão and Eddie Wineland fight in the land of the…Maple leaf? Just kidding Canada, we love you guys. Especially when your Toronto mayor gets caught on tape smoking crack.
