UFC 153 just fell apart and Jon Jones had NOTHING to do with it, seriously

The universe is trolling UFC — and it’s not fair. The past two weeks, UFC 153 went from a potential card of the year candidate to Strikeforce Challengers. We’re all sad, and this time we can’t blame Jon Jones (or Greg Jackson). Alright, here’s how this crazy sequence of events played out.

[list class=”bullet-8″]

  • Vitor Belfort was pulled from UFC 153 to replace Dan Henderson at UFC 151.
  • Alan Belcher pulled out of UFC 153 due to a spinal fracture at the end of August.
  • Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado was then added to UFC 153.
  • On August 31, Eric Koch dipped out of the card due to an injury and was replaced with Frankie Edgar.
  • Jose Aldo gets hit by a friggin’ car but claims that he’s alright to fight.
  • About an hour ago we’re informed that Rampage Jackson pulled out of UFC 153 due to an elbow injury.
  • Just minutes ago, Jose Aldo also pulled out of UFC 153 due to a foot injury — since he got hit by a car and stuff.

Of course right now would be a good time to tell Dana White to get Walter White on the phone because I’m absolutely certain he would come up with a solution — and it will most likely involve methamphetamine. We’re sure this list will expand throughout the day/night, so keep your eyes locked into this article. September 11th, man what a day.
