Just because Ubereem lost to one of the best strikers in K-1 last weekend does not negate the fact that he’s still the walking embodiment of rawesomeade. Remember, Alistair did KO Badr Hari around this time last year in Dynamite!! 2008. Now a Dutch site is confirming that Alistair Ubereem (I have no idea who ‘Overeem’ is) is going to clash against the only dude to ever rock Fedor: Kazuyuki Fujita.

The last time we saw Ubereem in an MMA match was Glory 11 back in October. We got to see Alistair Ubereem hop in the ring with a guy that works the cash register at a glass bong shop. His name was Tim Sylvester and Bas Rutten pretty much summed it up by saying ‘This guy doesn’t want to be in there’. Sylvester seems like a pretty chill guy, but the dude was in there with the Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion. Alistair guillotined Timmy in 1:19 and the five hour build-up that we patiently sat near our computers for was eventually drenched in anti-climatic sauce and abruptly consumed.
