Tyron Woodley Talks Jones Legal Trouble, Blasts McGregor
Tyron Woodley may not be the UFC’s Welterweight Champion anymore, but he still stands strongly by his beliefs. This trend continues, when discussing Jon Jones and Conor McGregor.
Woodley was discussing the recent chapter in the many, many legal troubles. Jones was recently accused of battery, against a cocktail waitress at a strip club. This, following a string of DUIs and hit and runs, that he is relatively fresh off of probation for.
However, according to Woodley, Conor McGregor has done more terrible things. He was speaking with TMZ discussing the affect Jones’ recent troubles would have on his popularity. Following that, Woodley blasted McGregor.
“We gonna act like Conor doesn’t do that every week? And we still want to put him on every fight card; he’s the biggest star. The second Jon Jones does something… I’m defending the fact that we selectively throw people under the bus. Conor has done way worse things than Jon, and he’s glorified and praised as some ‘Scarface’ of our sport.
Some of the things Woodley could be referencing are allegations of McGregor sexually assaulting a woman. On the other hand, he could be mentioning the infamous bus incident, or several other incidents. Despite this, Woodley made it clear that this does not excuse Jones.
“I’m not gonna give him a pass, either, because it ain’t my job to give the pass out,. All I’m saying is this: Let’s get all the details first, but let’s not forget there’s a lot of bulls–t that go on in our sport that we glorify.”
Tyron Woodley makes some really valid points. Like it or not, MMA will forever be shrouded in controversy.

The day Tyron woodley defends a white man is when I will say he’s a not a racist. He makes everything about race, so if he wants to make it about race, then he got a job from a white man, beating up white dudes, the only people he defends is black people. There has never been a time where Tyron has anything good to say about a white person, and there has never been a time where he didn’t defend a piece of shit black person. That’s the double standard that I can’t get behind.
I would have been happy if he said “fuck jones the pregnant lady crusher and fuck the sexual predator connor”, but no, that’s not what he comes off as saying, it sounds like he’s saying “im not going to call jones out on anything, despite him being a fuckup in the public eye long before connor, but I will call connor out on his sexual predator accusations.”
Fuck out of here with that bullshit. One of the greatest ww’s of all time in the ufc and he has stupid views like this. It just makes me sad that this race bullshit keeps continuing.
