There isn’t even anything to say. Robbie Lawler had made a legendary, career resurgence and became an exciting Welterweight king. His “Fifth Round Final Form” struck fear into all spectators and unfortunate fighters who may have to face him. This is why Tyron Woodley decided he wasn’t going to fight fifth round Lawler, he was just going to get it done in the first round.

A fight doesn’t exist to describe. There was a tentative, feeling out process; a moment that was a calm before the storm and all those clichés. After just a minute of aura-measuring, Woodley blasted off and absolutely turned Lawler’s lights out. Thousands of mouths dropped and some individuals just won a lot of money.
Needless to say, the Welterweight division is now up in the air. Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson most likely will fight Woodley for the title, unless the UFC have lost their minds. With Nick Diaz also returning soon, now is the time to make Lawler versus Diaz 2.
