Tyron Woodley Believes There’s Only One Option Rousey Would Consider To Return

Well, it’s almost a year now since Ronda Rousey last fought in the octagon against UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, where she lost the bout via brutal TKO in the first round.

Given thoughts on Ronda Rousey, there are common perceptions that she will never fight again. UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley shares his input on his new TMZsports show called “The Hollywood Beatdown,” where he discussed MMA’s, Ronda Rousey. He believes Gina Carano is the only name that would get Ronda Rousey back in the Octagon.

“Gina Carano, maybe,” Woodley explained to TMZ Sports. “I think that’s the only other person with a big enough name to make her come back and fight. It’s not a fighter that, like Amanda Nunes that has been wrecking everybody, or like some of these up-and-coming fighters.”

“[Ronda] is such a big household name, she has to fight somebody that is going to match her stature.”

Moreover, Woodley thinks Ronda Rousey fight for MMA again or not, but her new venture is probably the wise and best idea for her.

“She can’t do both, she should not do both [pro wrestling and MMA],” Woodley said. “I never want to retire somebody, but I think she’s done enough in the sport of mixed martial arts, and if she wanted to walk away, this might not be a bad time to pull up to a different avenue to open a new chapter in your life.”

As for Gina Carano, she’s made it clear that she doesn’t ever plan on coming back to MMA with her preference to stick to the acting. With that said who knows UFC might put together a package tempting for both contenders to return to the MMA for one more fight.
